Young children in Central and Northern California who are blind or visually impaired and may have additional disabilities receive critical early intervention and education services from our child development services (formerly Blind Babies Foundation program). Children increase visual functioning, sensory awareness, communication and social skills, as well as improve physical, cognitive and emotional development. Families learn to become successful advocates for their children’s education and care. Our vision impairment specialists collaborate with family members, medical professionals, caregivers and teachers.

“The program was incredibly helpful in helping us understand our son’s vision impairment and how to advocate for him.” – parent

We also serve children in Southern California – click here to learn more.
