Kaela Stambor

Director of Temporary Shelter Care and Head of Service, Mental Health Service

Kaela began her career in human services in 2012. She started and managed the Intensive Field Capable Clinical Services (IFCCS) program at Uplift. She hasĀ  been with Wayfinder since 2017, when she began as a part-time community therapist. Kaela has gained extensive experience at Wayfinder: she transferred into STRTP as the assessment therapist, program manager and then director of the program before transitioning into her latest role. She brings a wealth of knowledge in working with teens in outpatient, FSP and IFCSS programs and is trained in IPT, TFCBT, MAP, PPP, and Seeking Safety. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara and earned a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California.
