Laura Campaña is director of Wayfinder’s statewide early intervention program. She joined the organization in 2010 with an extensive background in working with high-risk infants and children. In 2013, Campaña led Wayfinder’s pilot study that investigated the use of iPad applications to improve the activation, attention span and physical-interaction skills of children with vision loss and multiple disabilities. She has presented her findings at a number of professional conferences and webinars, many of which attracted participants from other nations, and has been published in the Journal of Visual Impairment and Blindness.
Campaña has a bachelor’s degree in human development with a specialization in early childhood education, and a master’s in human development from Pacific Oaks College with a specialization in early childhood education administration.
