• We are accredited by the Council on Accreditation and we receive the highest ratings from Charity Navigator and the Better Business Bureau. These achievements mean we have exemplary financial, operations and program management.

• Two-year minimum term
• Fulfill an annual give/get of $1,500 (gifts can be made through a combination of individual, corporate, company match, foundations, and/or personal networks)
• Four meetings per year (teleconference available)
• Attend and serve as host committee for special events
• Serve on a council “committee” including: Fundraising (Social Media Campaigns and Crowdfunding), Events, Membership and Innovation
• Be an ambassador; a committed supporter and thoughtful advocate
• The council is led by an Executive Committee, which includes two co-chairs, and a fundraising-chair (each one-year term)

Volunteers and donors play a vital role in the success of our organization. Each council member is committed to:

• Introductions to new funding opportunities such as foundation and corporate grants, sponsorships and individual donors.
• Promote the organization to friends, family, colleagues and associates.
• Serve as a recruiting arm for volunteers and in-kind donations.
• Work in conjunction with the development team to host friend- and fundraising events, including site visits and arranging for speaking opportunities at a company, community organization or professional organization.

Members actively support Wayfinder Family Services on an annual basis, through personal funds and/or raising funds from other sources. The following outlines options for financial support and participation from each member:
