The Harvest Walk

Friends of Wayfinder’s Blind Babies Foundation program can celebrate and support our families by experiencing the world without sight on October 5th at our 14th Annual Harvest Walk. This special event gives participants of all abilities a glimpse into the worlds of the young children we serve. Walkers are blindfolded or wear glasses that simulate various visual impairments as they are guided along a sensory walking trail. Guides will help them navigate the course and diverse challenge stations.

Walkers not only get to experience first-hand what our children see may experience, but also help change their lives. We ask all participants to raise a suggested $100 per person, which covers one early intervention session for a baby with a visual impairment.

The day also includes a fall celebration for all attendees, including a complimentary lunch and harvest-themed activities!
