Goalball

Finding adapted sports for athletes with disabilities can be difficult, so Wayfinder offers a goalball program. Goalball is a Paralympic team sport for athletes who are blind or visually impaired. In goalball, a member of a three-person team rolls a ball toward the opposite goal while the other team tries to stop it from reaching the net. The ball has embedded bells that jingle as it moves.

Children in grades two to 12 who are blind or visually impaired and live in the greater Los Angeles area. Adults and those without visual impairments may be able to play. Please contact us for more information. No experience is necessary.
