Independent Living Skills For Adults Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired

Newly diagnosed or recent vision loss in adults can reduce their ability to care for themselves, live independently and navigate their community. Wayfinder is providing adults who are visually impaired with training in areas like independent living skills, the use of assistive technology, orientation and mobility to get around in their communities, and more. Each client receives one-to-one instruction that is based on their individualized service plan. This may also include small group trainings and virtual visits.

Services will be offered in Los Angeles county, at community-based locations, at the individual’s home and our main campus in Los Angeles.
