Media License and Release Agreement

Presenter Media License and Release Agreement
This Presenter Media License and Release Agreement (“Agreement”) will serve as our agreement concerning your participation in the Event. In consideration for the platform provided to you and in support of the Aspen Institute (the Institute) and Wayfinder Family Services (Wayfinder) goals to extend the reach of ideas, consensus-building and problem-solving that occur at the Event, you hereby grant to the Institute and Wayfinder a perpetual, irrevocable, nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to record, stream, film and photograph your participation and presentation at the Event (“the Presentation”), inclusive of your name, likeness, and image, and to use, publish, reproduce, edit, publicly display, distribute, make derivative works of the same and otherwise disseminate it, without any further approval from you, in whole or in part, in any and all languages and all media now known or hereafter developed, and to permit the Institute to allow select Event partners, sponsors and interested media organizations to do the same. This grant to the Institute and Wayfinder includes, but is not limited to, the right to use your Presentation either alone or together with supporting information, such as your name, voice, photograph, and likeness. Examples of permitted uses of the Presentation include, but are not limited to: live-streaming and otherwise displaying the Presentation on the website and YouTube channels for the Institute and Wayfinder; broadcasting the Presentation on television, radio, Internet, podcasts and other distribution channels, such as iTunes; and publishing and distributing the Presentation in Institute and Wayfinder magazines, digital or written reports or other publications. In addition, you agree and affirm that (i) the Institute and Wayfinder are not obligated to use the Presentation in any way; (ii) you will not withhold permission from the Institute and Wayfinder to publish your presentation pending a post-event review of your remarks; (iii) you have the full power and authority to grant the rights and releases set forth in this Agreement; (iv) you are the sole author of the Presentation and own all rights to it; (v) use of the Presentation as permitted by this Agreement will not violate the rights of any third party; (vi) you will not receive any payment in connection with the use of such Presentation; and (vii) you may not revoke the rights granted in this Agreement. Further, this Event is a public program and the Presentation or your statements may be independently recorded or published by news media organizations or other attendees outside the control of the Institute and Wayfinder. The Institute and Wayfinder are not responsible or liable for any such recordings or publications. You acknowledge the 501(c)(3) nonprofit status of the Institute and Wayfinder, requiring us to remain nonpartisan and refrain from supporting or opposing political parties or candidates seeking public office.
