Accessible Wayfinding Technology Study

Participants Needed:Try New & Exciting Accessible Wayfinding Technology by Waymap

  • Join a one-day study of Waymap’s innovative GPS navigation system for individuals with blindness and low vision, volunteers will select one day of participation during the week of either April 4-8 or April 11-15.
  • Participants will report to the Loyola Marymount campus for an on-site trial experience of the Waymap GPS system.  Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Free breakfast or lunch for all participants will be provided daily!  If needed, transportation stipends are available for participants within 20 miles of the Loyola Marymount campus, which is located just North of LAX International Airport.
  • Must be able to ambulate a distance of approximately 800 feet using your preferred mobility aids, including white canes, support canes, walkers, wheelchairs, guide dogs, etc.  Supervision by certified Orientation and Mobility instructors will be on site.
