Camp Bloomfield 2020

Hello Campers! Sneaks here, I hope everyone is safe and healthy at home right now with their families. I know so many in our big camp family have been wondering about Camp Bloomfield, and I’d like to share some details about Camp Bloomfield 2020.

Just like everyone, I’ve been dreaming of sitting outside during sunny days, playing sports and singing camp songs!

Wayfinder has considered all the possible adaptations we could make to continue camp programming for this summer to keep our campers healthy, safe, and happy. We thought about limiting the number of campers in each cabin, spacing campers during meals and activities, and creating smaller activity groups.

However, the more we planned this way, it just didn’t feel like it would be the camp experience we all know and love. The true meaning of Camp Bloomfield is to bring everyone together, and we have decided that the best way to bring everyone together safely this summer is with a virtual camp program.

We are very excited to announce the first ever
Camp Bloomfield Online experience!

Camp Bloomfield Online will include virtual camp activities for youth, teens, and adults with audio-described live content streams and recorded activity sessions that families can do together.

The most exciting part of this is that it will bring our entire camp family together from all over the country. COVID-19 has impacted the way we can physically meet, but we are Wayfinders—we aren’t going to let that stop us from creating a new, different way to connect. I am looking forward to meeting this challenge together!

We all know that camp is what you make it. The memories and experiences are up to each of us to create together, and this summer will be a new chance for us to make more. We’ll share songs, stories, and many laughs along the way.

Stay tuned for more details and content schedules in the coming weeks. And remember, as always, it’s nice to be nice!
