Wayfinder is so grateful to companies like Cleanlogic! They partner with our Transition Services program to provide meaningful internships to teens and young adults who are blind or visually impaired. Debbie (center) interned at Cleanlogic this summer. “Despite the barriers I’ve encountered as a visually impaired individual, I have acquired the skills and abilities to better myself as a student intern, employee and individual,” Debbie said. “Having a disability is not an obstacle to achieving educational and vocational goals.”
This summer’s Camp Bloomfield program was held at the Point Fermin Outdoor Education Center in San Pedro, Calif. Campers of all ages enjoyed field trips to the beach, beep baseball, campfire activities … and friendships that will last a lifetime.
Athletes of all abilities proudly marched in the opening ceremonies of this year’s Wayfinder Paralympic Games. They enjoyed a day of competition, camaraderie and independence!
