Wayfinder offers foster family services (also known as resource family services) that match children and youth with families that can provide safe, caring homes. We offer a full range of therapeutic and supportive foster care services to ensure that our foster youth reach their greatest potential.

Children of all ages who have been displaced from their families due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. Candidates to become foster care parents can be married couples, single individuals, older people, members of the LGBT community and from all socioeconomic statuses.

Foster care training sessions and placements to prospective families at no charge
Generous monthly stipend to assist foster families with providing adequate care
24-hour emergency phone line answered by our expert staff
Individualized plans including goals and objectives for children and families as well as assistance implementing the plan, including support with behavior modification
After care and support services following placement
Assistance in accessing community resources, such as tutoring or homework assistance
